Kelly B’s Beef Rub
This rub is perfect for smoked brisket, grilled steak, hamburgers, and lamb. My recipe puts a nice peppery flavor on the meats and will leave a slight crust of spices that you will find enhances the flavor. The “bark” that it creates on your smoked brisket adds a terrific flavor to both the sliced brisket and burnt ends and helps create a beautiful smoke ring. Because it is designed for a longer cooking meat like brisket where you will want to put it on a bit heavy, sprinkle lightly when cooking steaks or burgers or it will be too salty.
