Serve Up Sea Creatures

Grill Tips, Grilling, Kelly B's 101, Seafood

Seafood is often neglected when it comes to grilling. Change the game by grilling each and every swimming creature you can get your hands on! Fish, shrimp, crawfish, lobster, oysters. You name it, you grill it. There’s nothing better than a juicy, smoked seafood medley.

Take your shrimp boil to the grill for a sure crowd pleaser. Combine peeled/deveined shrimp with sliced smoked andouille sausage, small corn on the cob, and halved baby red potatoes. Divide ingredients equally onto individual foil squares. Drizzle with olive oil, and add cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Close up your foil packet, then grill them on high heat for 12-15 minutes and serve immediately out of the foil.

While you can grill any food at any time, special occasions will arise and you’ll need a go-to addition to the menu. Seafood is the perfect treat for land-lovers who rarely treat themselves. If you’re grilling for a birthday, wedding, or anniversary, toss a few grilled shrimp on top of your steak, mixed with melted parmesan. This scrumptious addition is sure to win the hearts of your guests.

Don’t forget the toast!

There will always be other fish in the sea, but I am grateful for the ones gathered here. To delicious seafood and wonderful friends! Cheers!
